Full hydraulic package for the Garrison Church project at Millers Point, carried out for Laycock Constructions. The work covered hot and cold reticulated water, sewer drainage, stormwater civil works and a grease arrester for the commercial kitchen.
The site is a heritage sandstone building with limited access down the side. All drainage and stormwater was excavated and laid in a narrow run between the church and the neighbouring property, worked around existing footings and rock.
Above ground, the package covered the amenities block, including ambulant and accessible pans, a cleaner's sink, and the kitchen and servery in Trinity Hall.

The drainage and stormwater runs had to go through a narrow strip alongside a heritage sandstone building, with rock through most of it. Excavation was staged so the trenches stayed open only as long as needed, and set-outs were checked against the hydraulic drawings before backfill and slab.
Above ground, the hot and cold reticulation was run to suit the amenities layout and the kitchen. The grease arrester was positioned and connected to suit the kitchen waste and give clear access for servicing.
Work was staged around Laycock Constructions' program so the slab, tiling and joinery trades could follow through without waiting on drainage or rough-in.
