Plumbing for a retail kiosk fit-out at Rhodes Waterside, carried out for The Construction and Maintenance Hub. The site was Nautical Bowls' first store in New South Wales, taken from CDC approval to open for trade in two and a half weeks.
The plumbing package covered rough-in and fit-off for the servery, including a triple bowl stainless sink with pre-rinse unit, a separate hand basin, under bench hot water, and all waste connections back to the centre's services.
Shopping centre work runs to the centre's rules as much as the builder's program. Rough-in was done in stud and ply walls behind the counter joinery, with all pipework set out to the joinery shop drawings before the kiosk was assembled.

Two and a half weeks from approval to trading leaves no float. Rough-in was set out off the joinery shop drawings so the copper landed where the sinks and taps were going before the kiosk was built out, and there was no cutting back into finished cabinetry later.
Everything under the counter had to fit in the depth available and stay serviceable. Wastes, traps and the hot water unit were positioned to clear the sink bodies and the frame, with access left for cleaning.
Access, isolations and after hours work were arranged with centre management and the builder. The kiosk was tested and handed over ready for health inspection ahead of opening.
